We have a trailer at the Jersey shore and the common laundry is always crowded. Rather than spend a day waiting for a washer I started washing by hand using the plunger. My husband and I also do our laundry by hand now too. When I was single it was something that I did a lot, but just started this recently as a married woman. We don't have a washer/dryer in our apartment so I use 2 buckets and a plunger that I bought at the Dollar Store.
