I wish I was related to you. If I wasn't so lazy and love my dryer so much I would try this idea out. Although nothing beats the smell of laundry that has been dried outside in the sun. As a kid I helped Mom do the laundry which involved hanging white cotton diapers--way too many to count and probably belonged to your husband--in the winter--they turned into stiff white boards--not sure if they actually were dry.
